In Search of Adam

Caroline Smailes is an authour I discovered online. What can I say, it is this exciting world of bloggers. You might have noticed the little widget on the side of my blog.
Caroline resides in the UK. I sent in for her book (which started with a UK release only) and it arrived last week. If it wasn't for the fact that family and dear friends were in town, as well as my daughter turning 13, I would have read the book in one day. But I did get to start it right away and finish it while siting on the beach yesterday.
The book was amazing. I am not a great writer and definitely not great with words (and it doesn't help that I am trying to write this with my toddler on my lap who is trying to gain control of the keyboard!), so I apologize because I will not be able to give IN SEARCH OF ADAM the praise it deserves. The book was powerful. It is about a girl named Jude and I wanted soo many times to reach into the book and pull her out to shelter her and give her a better life; to protect her. IN SEARCH OF ADAM, made me cry a few times and I still think about the book. I always find it to be a sign of a good to great book, when I close the last page and I am still thinking about the character or characters in the book.
Great work Caroline, I look forward to the next book!
