Photo Hunters: ROW

I, much like my friend, Sabine could not wait until tomorrow to post my Saturday Photo.
This weeks Photo Hunt is ROW. I decided to use a photo that I took last May at the WILDFLOWER Triathlon here in California.
I was impressed by the line up, or ROW, of Swimmers. They lined up by cap colors! The colors of the caps were determined by age, professional vs amateur, male/female, and whether you did the whole triathlon on your own (which most did) or if you were part of a team. The attendance was amazing, 7,775 participants. So this is just a small sample of the swimmers in attendance.

Hi...neat photo!!

And to answer your questions about the 'row' of photos ---I used my paint program and and made a large blank version, and copied and pasted the 3 photos in a row. Then, the face of our son, pixlated, is also done with the paint program.

Happy weekend.

Over 7000 participants! I was about to say something about there being such a lot of swimmers when I read that. Great picture, and I'm sure there won't be many others quite the same :)

Great shot of the starting line at a triathlon. :) My humans haven't done any triathlons, but they have run two marathons, and numerous half-marathons and 10Ks.

My row photo.

Usually the only place where one can enjoy photographs of 'swimmers' is at a fertility clinic. Was anyone nipped by a shark? Sharks seem to love Yum Yum Yellow in case you are trying to decide on a colour for your cap.

There was a funny ad campaign a few years ago where someone from the States asked a travelling Canadian if he knew Glen? You know Works in an office in Toronto? Oh yeah Office Glen!

Now 30 million people may not sound like much down South but we do think that it's funny.

OK but here is the thing, at my friend's blog Snippets, you mentioned Dennis Fast. There are over a million people in this Province but I actually know Dennis. This week I drove past his house in the small town where he lives ,my wife worked with him for years, and I looked at a brand new book of his photos!

Feel free to email me or visit my blog if you want to know more about Mr Fast and his photographic fascination with our Wildlife.
