Well our week in Japan is nearing its end. What a beautiful place. I am amazed at how beautiful the country and its people are. One of my favorite thing about Japan is the respect. You would not believe how respectful Japanese People are. The bowing is only one aspect of showing respect; though I do not understand Japanese, I can "hear" the respect from the "ritual" they go through when they speak to each other. There is a language ritual to great you when you enter in a restaurant, or in a store. Another language ritual when you exit. I love it.
Another aspect I have loved while visiting Japan is eating. Preparing and serving food is also done with such pride and it is almost an art form. Every meal we have had has been small and served on beautiful dishes and obviously the presentation is a huge part of your meal. We have had amazing noodles, tempura (like nothing I have ever eaten in the US) and steamed dishes.
Anyhow, I am reaching the end of our "relax time". It is time for us to go out and explore some more
I leave you with a few photos from the last two days

As usual, you have captured some amazing sites with your camera. Truly beautiful. Also, an interesting post. I think presentation can be the best part of a great meal when eating out. I'm sure I'd love dining in Japan. I hope you have an easy flight home.
What a beautiful trip. I love all of the posts you have from Japan. You lucky gal! How amazing to see it all. I've heard the same about Japan from a recent expat in Switzerland too.
My friend's brother wed a Japanese girl and he gets the best treatment ever.
An award and a tag for you:
