Hi guys! I couldn't stay a whole week without getting on my blog! I just couldn't resist! Having a fab time. We were up at 4 am this morning, showered and out the door and at the famous fish market before 6 am. It was amazing. Then at exactly 715am we were eating sushi at this quaint little sushi bar that held maybe 8-10 people. SUSHI for breakfast that was my stomach's first, but it handled it!
Then we walked to a temple area (where you see me proudly standing in front of the entrance) and there was a street full of vendors selling mostly Japanese souvenirs, but also these yummy fresh baked or freshly fried cookies. We ate our way down the lane!
We later stopped for a soba noodle lunch....yummy. I think we are eating our way through Tokyo!
I cannot believe that I am FINALLY in Japan. I can't stop thinking of my Friend Keiko, who was my first friend when I first started school in the US. We had both moved at the same time and landed in the same ESL class together. It is because of her that I ALWAYS wanted to get to Japan.
Am and I took the subway everywhere. WE were a bit worried but everything is well indicated.
WE went all over town. It is now 3:30pm and we are dead to the world. Think about it, we have been up for 12 hours already and walked all over town.
He has a couple of meetings and then we are going to a tempura dinner (told you we were eating our way through this town!). He has meetings tomorrow, and I have my very own special Panda-guide taking me around town. I am soo excited!
That's all for now. Just wanted to put up a picture for Nicola!
You only get one though. The rest will come when I get back
Sayonara!

Finally you made it!! So you went to Asakusa after all. Behind you is Kaminari Mon (that's what is written in that giant lantern). I love Asakusa.
Enjoy the rest of your stay. My husband will be in Japan too and in Tokyo on 9th-10th if I was with him, I could have met up with you!! Darn.
So glad you and yours are having a good time.

After you catch a breathe of course.
Sending hugs,

What a fabulous photo of you in front of the Sensoji temple. Asakusa is a gorgeous place we always nibble on the sembei (rice crackers) when we are there too!
We are so excited to read about your wonderful adventures!
