I do not care what you voted for and if your state even voted for this proposition, this an amazing heartfelt speech by Keith Olbermann. I loved this man before, and NOW I LOVE HIM! I wish I could speak as eloquently as he does. He spoke my thoughts exactly!
Last Tuesday, I was more then Overjoyed with the fact that this country elected Obama. But Boy, was I disappointing with how California (and other states voted on Prop 8). In California, the population voted for Animal rights, and yet took away basic civil rights for our fellow Humans. Go figure!?! It was like our country took a step forward and two step back, all in one day!!!

This is a great statement made by Keith Olbermann - thanks for sharing it here. I'm with Keith, we should be promoting equal rights regardless of race, sexual orientation, or religious conviction. It's time for Americans to step up and accept that we cannot legalize discrimination without risk of losing the freedom that we have fought so hard to maintain.
I've seen it already and I thought he was magnificent.
Hopefully things will change again.
