Here is a photo from Sunday. My dog in my car (with my oldest waving in the back ground). Sam is a 10 year old Bernese Mountain dog and he loves to go on adventures... though he has slowed down quite a bit!

Weekend Snapshot: Southern California Fires

I was away this whole weekend and came home to my town on fire. I was not able to take good shots as I was driving.... I did manage these two shots from my phone (while driving, shh do not tell the police!) and these photos do not really show the severity of these fires.
It was quite eerie driving into town with all the dark skies, and the mountains on fire. I feel for all the ones who have lost their homes and have been displaced by these fires. Luckily, we have had relief from the winds, which has helped combat the fires... Now all we need is some moisture... BRING ON THE RAIN!!

Keith Olbermann speaks out About Proposition 8

I do not care what you voted for and if your state even voted for this proposition, this an amazing heartfelt speech by Keith Olbermann. I loved this man before, and NOW I LOVE HIM! I wish I could speak as eloquently as he does. He spoke my thoughts exactly!
Last Tuesday, I was more then Overjoyed with the fact that this country elected Obama. But Boy, was I disappointing with how California (and other states voted on Prop 8). In California, the population voted for Animal rights, and yet took away basic civil rights for our fellow Humans. Go figure!?! It was like our country took a step forward and two step back, all in one day!!!

Weekend Snapshot: Still celebrating a Victory!

I am still on Cloud 9 from this week's election. After more then a year of great excitement, he WON!!! I think the country and the world has a new look and new hope after Tuesday's election!

Photo Hunt: Together

I chose to talk about my oldest and her horse. Together, they have come a long way. Together they make a great team. And together with their trainers, they have had a fabulous showing season. (Not sure if you can see, but the 2nd jumping photo, My daughter has a big smile on her face... I love that! She always has fun, even when her horse acts up, which he had just done before the jump)....
