Ok The secret is out. My favorite actor of all time is Edward Norton. He is an unbelievable actor...
I figured it out that he was an amazing actor after I saw him in two films almost back to back. Although the movies were released a few years apart, I happened to watch them almost back to back.
The first film is Primal Fear where he plays an alter boys.
Warning the youtube video is a spoiler, so if you have not seen it, I recommend you DO NOT WATCH IT and rent the movie
Then the next movie is American History X, in which he plays a violent Skin head in Venice Beach, CA. The movie is brutally violent but an amazing film. One of my top three favorite movies... WARNING, the youtube video scene you are about to see is BRUTALLY violent. BUT those two scenes were the best to show case what an amazing actor he is!
Edward Norton will be 40 this year and that is really all I know about him! But I have seen all of his movies except the Incredible Hulk; I just cannot ruin it for me.. seeing him green and all...

Weekend Snapshot: Maya
Believe or not, I took this shot in a bathroom stall. Maya was waiting for me and I loved the background. Unfortunately, the lighting, as would be expected in a bathroom, was awful and I did not have a tripod. Yet, I love this photo. This is not far from my house. One day, when I have time, I will go there again WITH my tripod and do a modeling shoot in the toilet!

Do you remember Chernobyl?
April 26, 1986, a nuclear at the Power of Chernobyl, Ukraine, was by far the worse nuclear plant accident in history and one that all of us alive in 1986 would remember. According to Wikipedia "the explosions and the resulting fire sent a plume of highly radioactive fallout into the atmosphere and over an extensive geographical area. Four hundred times more fallout was released than had been by the atomic bombing of Hiroshima."
Here is a photographic journey through Chernobyl today. A trip that not too many have taken. I found it very interesting.

The Current Economic Situation is affecting us all
What's new?
Well I have been sick for four days, and I finally feel human again. Being sick for four days when you have children and a husband in the house, means very little rest.. though my hubby did take the kids out on Saturday day and let me rest.. But boy, did this cold kick my bootie! I had 100 fever, chills, aches, pains, and a cough....and the headache. What makes me mad is that I stayed cold/flue clear the whole fall and winter. I have been taking Ester C this past year and I attributed my healthy to that. I ran out of it, didn't take it for 4-5 days and BOOM it hit me... coincidence?! Not sure. I am back to taking my Ester C! Not taking a chance!
What else is new? Well I have kicked my caffeine addiction. I thought that impossible, but I did it! I slowly slowed it down, to where I was having it once in the morning.. to nothing. I am not drinking coffee, tea, Ice tea, etc.. Sodas were never a big deal for me, so that was no issue. But I LOVED my cappuccino! WHY did I stop? Mostly because I should... I can't just stop at once and having blood pressure issues, I really should limit myself to one cup a day... but I could never stop at that. So I am now on fruit juice in the morning, hot water and/or herbal tea, and continuing with my water. I DO not miss it! NOW, no worries, I am not giving up my wine; nor my occasional beer! A girl's got to have HER limits!
Now, what is NEW with you?

Music that makes you smart Vs. Dumb...

A friend of mine pointed me to this great article. It made me smile... Check it out Music That Makes You Dumb I was glad that Coldplay made it somewhere in the middle though I was surprise not to find Bach on this list. If I had been in this unscientific experiment Bach and Mozart would have been on top of my list... Am I above the charts in my intelligence! :)

Swiss Architect

This is an amazing house in Locarno, Switzerland, built by Wespi de Meuron. I love the simplicity of this house; so Swiss. And the stone work. I was surprised that there were not more windows, but from the pictures, it looks like there is ample light. You can see more here.

Photo Hunt; Space
This week's hunt is SPACE. I had to go back in time to 2005 to find a photo from my trip to Alaska. Alaska is my favorite place to visit.. because of its wide open SPACE and because it is still so raw. IT is a beautiful, no BEAUTIFUL part of our country. This photo was taken from Camp Denali within Denali National Park

Horse show Video
This is a little video I put together of the last two rounds of Malina four day horse show. The first one is a straight round, the second one has the work off built into the course. For those of you not in the "know" of this sport, you will see her trot a jump and after the trot jump she will pick up the Counter canter (At the counter canter, instead of traveling around the arena on the inside lead as usual, the horse will travel on the outside (counter) lead. The movement is difficult, not only because it demands good balance and coordination in the horse, but also because it is opposed to what the horse has previously been trained to do. Force of habit, as well an uncertainty about its balance, makes the horse want to switch back to the inside lead, particularly on the corners of the ring.) All jumps are set at 3'3". The video was shot with my Canon point and shoot who also does continuous video... So sorry it is not the best of quality..Music by Coldplay..

Weekend Snapshot: Jumpers
![]()
I have been at a four day horse show with my daughter in the desert near Palm Springs. It has been hot and dry, but a fun weekend. We were able to see some amazing riders, such as Will Simpson, who won the Gold in the 2008 Olympic Games.
I snapped a few pictures of different riders, not WILL Simpson (I watched him and didn't want to miss it by taking photos). The last one was a crash... both horse and rider were ok. It has been a fun weekend. My daughter has had a great time. The competition has been fierce but that is what she likes.. I on the other hand hate dust and heat and I have had my share of that. But it has been a fun time non the less
