Yosemite; Climbing Half Dome

Here are photos of our time in Yosemite climbing Half Dome. It was a 9 hour hike. WE climbed a total of 4, 442ft...the top of Half DOme is 8,842Ft and the Yosemite Valley were we started is 4,000ft. WE started at 6:30am at the car and came back to the car a few minutes before 6:30pm. WE took some breaks and spent a good hour at the top of the dome. The cable up and down took us a long time as there were alot of people and you can only go so fast.
It was hard work but super rewarding. The view from the top of Half DOme is priceless..

Four years ago today/ Three years ago today

Four years ago today, my baby was born. A year later we finally were able to hold her in our arms. Today we celebrated her 4th birthday and 3 years together as a family. Maya did not want us to have a cake nor sing happy Birthday. She says she wants to stay 3 years old :)
Tomorrow, we are having a party for her.
This first photo is the first time I laid eyes on my baby; it was April 2006.
The Second photo is the first time I saw her in person. Here she is with her foster mom, who took such wonderful care of her for 11 months.







I cannot tell you how blessed we are to have our little Maya in our lives. She is an AMAZING little girl! We are all so blessed!


I have been in Yosemite and will post photos after the birthday Party. Give me a day or two... We climbed Half Dome, which was an amazing adventure!! stay tuned for photos! :)

I chose this cake that I bought for My daughter's 15th birthday. The second name on there is the name of her trainer. They have birthdays that are 5 days apart, so we did a combination birthday celebration... The cake was soo yummy and SOOO creamy!

iphone software 3.0

Can I just say FINALLY! Geez.. Simple thins like CUT and PASTE and MMS are something we did not have in the last two years of the iphone....

I have been waiting for these two new features since I first got my iphone. I feel complete now. ;) Other new features with the new software upgrade are:
landscape keyboard
spotlight search
Voice memos
Better Calendars
A Way to Sync your notes
Stereo Bluetooth
and Much more

Yet, having said that, the NEW iphone is 2 times faster then it's older version, it has video, a better camera, and a few more features... AND in the beginning AT&T has said that those of us who had bought an iphone last year, would not be getting this newer version at a discounted price... but after MANY MANY COMPLAINTS, yesterday, they announced that they would give the new iphone at a discounted price to all of its customers... I am going to try REALLY hard not to go out and get the new one.. be on stand by.. I have a hard time resisting the new upgraded iphones :)

IT's all about Cheese

I do not just simply love cheese, I AM CHEESE. My veins bleed cheese. OK, so when I found this sight, it was like MY DREAM COME TRUE. CHeck it out for yourself, here!
