Keshav tripped and fell at our hotel, and he broke his right ulna and humerus :( Poor guy had to be seen at Connecticut Children's Hospital ER that night, after which we drove back to Boston and took him to the Boston Children's Hospital ER in the morning! After determining that he wouldn't need surgery, they put a cast on him, which he had to wear for 6 weeks. He was extremely brave, and although he was uncomfortable and in pain for the first week, he learned how to manage and still have a fun summer even with his dominant hand out of use! Here is a drawing that he made of his fractures:

He also loved that so many of his loved ones got to sign his cast!

One of the hardest parts of it was that for the first 4 weeks, he could not get it wet. But, we managed to still enjoy the summer the best we could! We had a membership this summer to one of our favorite farms, Davis Farmland, which was always a blast for the kids!

When Daji and Dadi came to visit, we went to Legoland in Boston!

We also attended a local minor league team's (The Lowell Spinners) baseball game on their superhero night, so the kids got to dress up as superheroes! It was a lot of fun!

And, of course, we ate a LOT of ice cream this summer!
