While Daddy was in India, the three of us flew to Kentucky to spend some time with Nana and Nani, and we were so lucky that Mama, Mami and Aayush were there, too!
We especially had fun celebrating Nani and Mama's birthdays together!
On Thanksgiving day, instead of heading out to the stores to get in line for Black Friday shopping, we decided to do a community service project together for a local women's shelter for domestically abused women and children. We made cards and gift bags for the kids at the shelter and delivered them. It was a wonderful experience and a great way to give back to my hometown!
After Thanksgiving, Nana and Nani had to go out of town for a wedding, so the three of us headed to Cincinnati to spend the weekend with Bakaka, Dipti Kaki, Divya Masi and Diya Masi! We had a great time playing games together, watching the Trolls movie in the theater and going to the Children's Museum together!
On our way back to Kentucky, we stopped by the Cincinnati Zoo to see their lights display, and it was so beautiful! Vidya especially loved riding the train and watching the lights on the water during the song "Let it Go!"
