Giving back

Something that both Vivek and I loved about our families is how much they would give back to their communities.  All of Keshav's grandparents have always been so involved in their local temples and are dedicated to share our culture with those around them.  Well, in the spirit of the holiday season, our mother's group here in Andover also came together to give back to our community.  I was very excited to get Keshav involved in some community service, and even though he may not fully understand the concept of giving back yet, we hope to make this a regular thing for him as he grows up!

Our mother's group "adopted" a family in need this Christmas, and we all pitched in some money and bought Christmas presents for the family!  Then, we all came together to wrap the presents.  Keshav loved tearing the wrapping paper and sticking the tape!  I am excited to expose Keshav to more opportunities to give back to our new Massachusetts community!
