This past weekend was Memorial Day long weekend...and it was my 33rd birthday on Saturday and Keshav's 3rd birthday on Sunday! We decided to make it a weekend getaway and drove about 130 miles north to a town called North Conway, NH. It is a small town nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We rented a 3 bedroom townhouse there, which was great! It had a crib for Vidya, a whole playroom with lots of puzzles and toys for Keshav, and a ping pong table for us to enjoy once the kids were asleep! Plus, we all got to sleep in our own rooms, and we had a full kitchen so we could cook many of our meals while we were there! It was like a home away from home!
On my birthday, we started off with some brunch at Priscilla's restaurant!
We visited the North Conway Scenic Railroad and took a 1 hour train ride within the beautiful White Mountains! The kids loved riding on the choo choo!
We ended the day with some delicious rainbow cake that Daddy surprised me with from a local bakery and some yummy pizza from Flatbreads! It was a great day!
The next day was Keshav's birthday, and we took him to a place that he knew he would enjoy...Storyland! This is an amusement park in Glen, NH (only about 10 miles away from where we were staying) that is geared toward younger kids, and Keshav had a blast! He loved riding all the rides, especially the roller coaster, playing in the water spray area, and eating ice cream! Vidya had a lot of fun riding on the ferris wheel and safari ride too!

Finally, on our last day in the area, we did a short hike called Diana Baths. It was about 1.2 miles total, and Keshav hiked by himself the whole way! Vidya got a nice ride from Daddy :) At the end of the hike was a beautiful waterfall. We had a wonderful trip to New Hampshire this weekend!
It looks like you and Keshav had an awesome birthday weekend filled with fun and adventures with the family in New Hampshire! Vidya looks so cute in her hiking pack, and the waterfall is gorgeous! Storyland looks like it must have been tons of fun for the kids! We went to a Storyland in Oakland once with Lila and Diya, but it was old and run-down. We still had a lot of fun, but this one looks awesome! Your cake looks super yummy too! Good job, Vivek!
