San Francisco Trip - Part 1 - Vidya meets her twin!

We have been so excited to go on our first big vacation together as a family of four, and there is no better place to go than where we lived for many years and where Keshav was born...San Francisco!  The Bay Area is one of our favorite places in the world, and we were ready to see all of the sights, eat at the restaurants we used to love, and spend time with our family and friends!  It was an amazing trip that was packed with lots of adventures!

Our journey started in San Jose.  We spent our first 4 nights at Sejal Foi and Anish Fua's house, and we had no idea that we would be meeting Vidya's twin there!  Their son Samay is only about 6 weeks younger than Vidya, and they look like they could be twins!  They became instant best friends, and they loved playing with each other!  Keshav also loved being the big brother to both Vidya and Samay :)

This is what they loved doing all day...eating their toys!  They both loved that
teal spatula and would take it from each other to chew :)  So cute!
Meeting Roshan Kaka!

We visited a place called Happy Hollow in San Jose that is a little amusement park and zoo.  It was perfect for Keshav!  He loved riding all the rides, and everyone loved seeing the animals!

He had his arms up for the whole ride!

Wow, everyone is smiling in this pic!  That is no easy task!

Another adventure we did in San Jose was going to the San Jose Children's Discovery Museum!  That particular day was "Spare the Air Day" in the Bay Area, which encourages people to take public transportation to reduce pollution from cars.  And since Keshav loves trains, we decided to take the train to the museum!  The kids had a blast riding on the train, and this museum is one of the best Children's museums we have ever visited!  We took Keshav there when he was a little baby (1st Museum Visit).  All the kids loved spending time there :)

Choo choo!

Samay looks just like Sejal Foi!

We have a picture of Keshav at this
age playing with those same blocks!

We loved going to brunch at our friends' Gopi and and Sunil's house in Menlo Park.  They have an adorable son Milan, and it was so much fun to see all the kids playing together!

Samay and Vidya really look like twins in this pic!

Thank you so much to Sejal Foi and Anish Fua for opening up your home to us during our trip.  We had so much fun getting to know Samay, and I hope we can see you guys often so we can watch these kids grow up together!
