Vidya's 1-year-old birthday!

This past year has FLOWN by!  How did my baby girl grow into a 1-year-old?  I seriously can't believe that she is no longer this tiny little infant, swaddled in my arms.  She is now a very active girl, and it brings all of us so much joy to watch her grow!  She is walking now 4-5 steps at a time (and then sitting down to crawl the rest of the way)!  She loves climbing over her brother and getting into anything that he is doing!  She has many words now like "bhai," "cow," "car," "more," "baby," and "happy," and she can even say her own name (which sounds like "eeeeya!").  She shows so much love by blowing kisses and cuddling (see the video below).  She loves to clap her hands, wave hello and bye bye, and play peek-a-boo!  She is a fabulous eater and loves to try new foods!  She pretty much eats everything that we eat, and we're loving it!  She still has no teeth, but her gums are pretty strong :)  I am so blessed to be able to spend every day playing with her and getting to know her, and she and her brother fill my days with endless joy!  Happy birthday to my sweet, beautiful, brilliant daughter!
