We had a farm-themed birthday party for Vidya, and it was a lot of fun for everyone! We welcomed everyone to "Old MacMunshi's Farm" with a baby animal petting zoo, a Vidya's jamboree station with a banging wall and lots of instruments to play, baby hayrides, pick your own apples and pumpkins with pumpkin painting, a time capsule, and, of course, lots of food and cake!
Everyone, including kids and adults, enjoyed petting and holding the adorable baby animals!

Another big hit of the party was the "Vidya's Jamboree!" Vivek and I constructed this long banging station with all kinds of things for the kids to hit with sticks and make different percussion noises!

The kids loved painting pumpkins and putting them in their "Vidya's Barnyard Bash" goodie bags! And Vidya is going to love all the notes written to her for her time capsule when she reads them on her 18th birthday!
And then there was the cake! We had the cake made by a local baker (Cakes by Michelle in Reading, MA), and it turned out to be so beautiful and tasty! Vidya especially loved her little matching smash cake, and she ate quite a bit of cake and icing that day!
But, by far, the best part of the day was spending time with those that we love! Thank you to everyone who came and made this party one that our whole family will never forget :)
