Since Keshav is now in school Monday through Friday from 9am-noon, Vidya and I have had some one-on-one time to spend together, and it has been wonderful! It feels like she is finally getting the individualized attention that Keshav got when he was a baby, and we are both making the most of our time together! So far, we have formed a playgroup for babies her age that meets once a week. We have also done several playdates and are regularly going to the library for baby story time! She really enjoys being around other little kids, and she is so social and talkative!
One of our playgroups was at a nearby pumpkin patch where the kids could explore the pumpkins and roll them over! I also made some bags full of the insides of a pumpkin (seeds and guts), and they loved to squish them with their hands!

Another playgroup we did recently was fingerpainting on pumpkins! I made some edible finger paint, and we let the babies smear the paint anywhere they wanted! The paint ended up mostly on their clothes and the mommies' clothes, but some got on the pumpkins and paper :) Quite a bit of it ended up going in Vidya's mouth...she found it rather tasty!

And one of her favorite places (just like her brother) is the library! She loves picking out books and singing songs during story time.
We love having this time together in the mornings, but we also have so much fun with bhai after he comes home from school!
