We visited Mardi Gras World, which is a big warehouse where they store old props from Mardi Gras parades and where they make new props for the floats! We got to try on authentic costumes from the parades and sample King Cake. The kids loved seeing all the larger-than-life props!
We also did a community service project at City Park as a part of our December Kindness Elves. We spent time planting new plants in the Butterfly garden area of the famous park in New Orleans, and we were so happy that Nehal Kaka and Dadi could join us for it!
No trip to New Orleans would be complete without lots of beignets at Cafe du Monde!
