Welcome to our blog!

Vivek and I wanted to share some news about Keshav and Vidya on a frequent basis with our close family and friends, and hopefully this will be a good way to do so! Please visit often, and I will do my best to keep things updated!

Coast to coast!

On Shyam Mama's last day visiting with us, we decided to take a trip to the coast since he loves to relax on the beach!  We went to the town of Newburyport, MA and Plum Island.  We spent the afternoon at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge, which is a network of more than 150 million acres of lands and waters that is protected and managed specifically for wildlife (mostly migratory birds).  It is one of the most breathtaking and relaxing places I have ever visited, and I'm so glad Keshav got to spend some time here!

We climbed up a tall observation deck which gave us amazing views of the vast marshlands and wildlife.

We then walked along a long wooden walkway that led us directly to the Atlantic Ocean!  Keshav had a blast playing in the sand and following the sea gulls!

  2. These are gorgeous pictures!! Are you using a new lens? Everything is so vibrant and vivid. I love how preppy Keshav looks too! He's like a mini Vivek. :) I'm glad you are getting to discover all areas of your new home! You guys sure live in a beautiful part of the country!

    1. Thanks Reema! We used the regular lens for the marsh pictures and the 50mm lens for the beach pics, so no new lenses! Because Shyam and Vivek were there, I got to put the camera on the manual setting and play around with it a bit, which was fun! This area really is beautiful and amazing...we feel lucky to have gotten to live on both coasts!
