This year, we weren't quite ready to travel with Vidya being so little, so our wonderful families came to us! We hosted Thanksgiving and had 12 people staying at our house! It was SO wonderful to have everyone here! Keshav and I did an arts and crafts project making turkeys with his hand print for everyone who was joining us to celebrate! Vidya was dressed in festive "Gobble gobble" attire :)
During this Thanksgiving weekend, Keshav and Vidya were so lucky to be able to meet and spend time with both of their great-grandmothers!

The day was filled with lots of playing and cooking, and it ended with a yummy Thanksgiving dinner including vegetarian stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied sweet potatoes, stuffed bell peppers, and Nana's specialty, mulligatawny soup!

After filling our bellies, we played a quick game of Celebrity, and then the Joshi family headed out for their traditional Black Friday shopping, and they didn't come back until 4am!

The kids had such a blast spending time with the family. We are so happy we were able to host Thanksgiving for everyone! Let's do it again next year!
