Vivek and I wanted to share some news about Keshav and Vidya on a frequent basis with our close family and friends, and hopefully this will be a good way to do so! Please visit often, and I will do my best to keep things updated!

Sesame Place for July 4th Weekend!
With Vivek traveling so much these past few months, we weren't sure if we would be up for a trip over the July 4th long weekend. We have thought about doing the 5 hour drive over to Pennsylvania to visit Sesame Place, which is a theme park geared toward younger kids who enjoy Sesame Street, and this seemed like the perfect weekend to do it! So we set out for a little road trip!
The kids absolutely LOVED Sesame Place! It was a perfect combination of rides (which Keshav adores), characters (both kids were into them), and water play! We spent all day Saturday and half of Sunday there, and they did not want to leave! Keshav is already talking about taking another trip to Sesame Place!
As soon as we entered the park, Keshav saw the roller coaster Vapor Trail and ran straight to it! He rode it at least 4 times during our trip and enjoyed every drop and turn! He definitely takes after his daddy when it comes to his love of rides!
Ready to go in!
Going up, up, up!
Vidya loved watching Bhai do the rides!
Vidya takes after me and isn't a big fan of rides, at least not yet!
Keshav got me to do one ride!
One of Keshav's favorites!
Nap time!
Even though Vidya wasn't into the rides, she was THRILLED to meet all of her favorite Sesame Street characters! Keshav had each character sign his autograph book, and Vidya made sure to give high fives to everyone! It was so cute to see how excited they both got to meet all of them!
Murray! Keshav made sure to ask him what was the word on the street!
Abby!
Elmo!
Ernie and Bert!
Cookie Monster!
The Count!
We also booked a lunch with the characters, and the kids had so much fun! They loved that the characters would come and hang out with them at our table while we were eating, and they couldn't believe that they were dancing with the characters during their presentation!
Finally, there was the water park area, which was a big hit for both the kids! Keshav, of course, loved all the water slides, and Vidya loved the wading pools! It was a perfect hot and sunny day to play in the water! We are so glad we made the drive there over the long weekend. We all had a blast!
