This year for Christmas and New Year, we went to visit Nana and Nani in Kentucky! This was the first time that Vidya had been to Nana and Nani's home, and both the kids were very excited to spend time there! Vidya loved all the open space to run around! It was even warm enough to go to the park one of the days we were there :)

Keshav was very excited about Christmas and Santa this year and even got himself off the naughty list just in time :) In preparation for Christmas morning, he made cookies for Santa. Nana and Nani had set up a beautiful Christmas tree with a Disney train that goes around it and stockings that were perfect for all the presents that Santa brought! Keshav enjoyed handing out everyone's gifts and, of course, opening his!

That afternoon for lunch, Nana and Nani had invited several of their friends from the community to come and have a holiday party! Nani cooked so many delicious dishes for the party including pani puri, papri chaat, samosa chaat and bhel, but the kids' favorite thing were the homemade cake pops!
Both kids really loved playing with their Abhu Masi and Parashar Mama! It was definitely a very Merry Christmas!
