We packed in the last part of our trip with some amazing adventures! First, we visited the Audubon Zoo! I was very excited about this because I know how much Keshav loves animals! He kept saying that he wanted to see a turtle and an alligator, and we got to see both! We also saw lions, tigers, bears, sea lions, elephants (although they were hiding because it was cold outside!), giraffes, and flamingos!

 |
| Petting the chinchilla |
 |
| Admiring the white tiger |
 |
| Feeding the ducks and pelicans |
 |
| Brushing the goat's hair |
One of Keshav's favorite activites at the zoo was climbing up Monkey Hill and then coming down the spiderweb net! He got a little stuck at the end :)
On our last full day in the city, Roshni Foi came to visit as she was going to be in town for New Year's Eve! We all went to the Insectarium, and Keshav had a blast trying to catch all the butterflies!

All in all, we are very thankful to Keshav's Dadaji and Dadi for showing us such a wonderful time in Vivek's hometown! It was great to see some of the places that Vivek enjoyed when he was a little boy! And of course, Keshav cherished spending Christmas with his loving grandparents :)
All your adventures in New Orleans look amazing! It looks like you guys had a great time with the whole family in the Big Easy! Keshav looks adorable on that big spiderweb crawl! I also can't believe he is not afraid of the butterflies! Krish is still scared of them. Great to see that Roshni also got some good quality time with a lot of the family over the holidays! :) Thanks for sharing your experiences from your trip - so good to see everyone together!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Neil likes Fua's cap :)
Neil wanted me to say it exactly how he said it, "I'm impressed that Fua is still rockin' the old Chicago Bulls hat!" (Apparently he used to wear the same one in his youth almost every single day.)
