It is almost April...the cold will end soon, right? In the mean time, we have started to do some Easter crafts! Today, we did two pretty cool egg-related projects:
1. Yarn eggs! We first took some Elmer's glue and added some water to it. Then we blew up a few water balloons. We dipped some yarn in the glue solution and then wrapped the water balloons with the yarn. After the glue dried, we popped the balloon (this was Keshav's favorite part), and what was left was an egg-shaped yarn cage! Even Vidya was fascinated by it :)
2. Our second project of the day was coloring real, hard-boiled eggs with shaving cream and food coloring! This was a lot of fun for Keshav, because he got to get messy! Our neighbor Sumana has been coming over a few days a week to play with Keshav and be my "Mother's helper," so she joined in on the fun today too! We swirled some shaving cream with different colors of food coloring, coated the eggs with the mixture, and left it on for a few hours. After we wiped off the shaving cream, the eggs were nicely dyed with the different colors!
While doing projects with Keshav is always fun, we are SO ready for some warm weather so we can play outside! Hopefully it will come soon!

World's best mother...."MIMI". We are so proud of you seeing Keshav and Vidya growing up under your loving care.

Krishna, you are so creative! These Easter egg projects are so neat! We did some traditional egg dying kits, but these are amazing. Keshav seems to like the shaving cream projects. We should try them out too. It's so cute how Vidya can play with the final project products as well! You are such an amazing mommy! We're sending warm thoughts your way for outdoor activities too!
