| When I told Keshav that there are kids that don't have many toys like he does, he was very interested in taking some to give to them so that they can have lots of things to play with too! |
Ali and Abe suggested that it would be so nice to make something to give to all of his friends, so Keshav made some gingerbread play dough with me that we packaged up and gave to all his playgroup friends during our annual Yankee Swap!
Since one of Keshav's favorite things is to visit the zoo, we decided to write a letter to the zookeepers to thank them for all the hard work they do to take care of all the animals! We are also going to be making a paper chain to take to the zoo so that they can use it to decorate some of the exhibits!
And just this morning, we visited a local assisted living facility to sing Christmas carols for the elderly folks that live there! Keshav loves music, so this was a great way for him to bring some Christmas cheer to other people, and he really enjoyed it!
These elves have really reminded us that we are so fortunate to have everything that we do, and while receiving gifts is nice, it is truly better to give to others!
